Account details are a set of details for a currency to receive money.
Once you have your SGD account details, you’ll have your own account number where you can receive Singaporean dollars.
This isn’t a traditional bank account, but you can receive money in the same way by sharing the account name and number with friends, family, clients, or companies, so that they can send you money.
They can pay you locally from their Singaporean bank, or internationally by Swift. Once you receive the money, it’ll be credited to your SGD balance.
Opening new account details
You’ll first need to open a SGD balance. Then you select Get your account details and follow the steps. We’ll need to verify you before we can provide details to you.

Payments from inside Singapore
Share your local SGD details.
The sender’s bank will give them an estimate when they set up the payment — for any details about how long it takes, reach out to your sender so they can ask their bank.
Payments to your personal account details
You can receive money through the Fast and Secure Transfers (FAST) network, and PayNow.
If your Wise account address is in Singapore, you can't hold more than the equivalent of 5,000 SGD in your personal Wise account. This is because we’re regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) under the Payment Services Act.
Payments to your business account details
You have 2 sets of account details for different purposes, along with a PayNow QR code.
1. Receiving through FAST
You can get instant payments 24/7 with FAST.
When your sender enters your account details in their banks’ system, they may see “Wise Asia-Pacific Pte. Ltd. (Formerly TransferWise)” as the bank. This is because Wise is a Non-Bank Financial Institution directly connected to the FAST network.
2. Receiving from platforms
You can get money from platforms like Google or Stripe through GIRO and MEPS, which is common for receiving salaries.
Payments from outside Singapore
There are two ways you can receive SGD payments from outside Singapore.
Payments by Swift to SGD details
Share your global Swift account details with the person who wants to pay you. They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world.
They should only send you SGD to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in SGD, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
When your sender enters your account details in their banks’ system, they may see “DBS” as the bank. This is our partner bank and we hold accounts with them. Although we're partnered with them, make sure to reach out to us if you have any questions about incoming payments. If they need a branch code ─ use 003.
You won’t be able to receive using other payment methods, international wire, or cash deposits.
Payments by Swift to GBP details
You can also receive SGD from outside Singapore by Swift into your GBP global account details.
Let the sender know that you want to receive SGD into your GBP details so you can avoid conversion fees. Some banks might recognise the GBP IBAN and want to convert SGD to GBP, but this isn't necessary.
If their bank asks them the country of the recipient’s (your) bank, tell them to select the United Kingdom.
