Account details are a set of details for a currency to receive money.
Once you get your HUF account details, you’ll have your own account number where you can receive Hungarian forint.
This isn’t a bank account, but you can receive money in the same way by sharing the details with friends, family, clients or companies so that they can send money to you.
They can pay you locally from their Hungarian bank, or internationally via Swift. Once you receive the money, it’ll be credited to your HUF balance.

Payments from outside Hungary
Payments by Swift to HUF details
Share your global Swift account details with the person who wants to pay you. They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world. Keep in mind it's usually cheaper and faster to receive to local account details.
They should only send you HUF to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in HUF, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
Wise has an entity in Belgium, so we use the Belgian BIC code and a Wise address in Belgium for some of our European currency accounts, including HUF. You can still use the Belgian BIC to receive payments in HUF to your HUF balance.
Payments by Swift to GBP details
You can also receive HUF from outside Hungary by Swift into your GBP global account details.
Let the sender know that you want to receive in HUF into your GBP details so you can avoid conversion fees. Some banks might recognise the GBP IBAN and want to convert to GBP, but this isn't necessary.
If their bank asks them the country of the recipient’s (your) bank, tell them to put the United Kingdom.
