Account details are a set of details for a currency to receive money.
Once you get your HUF account details, you’ll have your own account details where you can receive Hungarian forint.
This isn’t a bank account, but you can receive money in the same way by sharing the details with friends, family, clients or companies so that they can send money to you.
They can pay you locally from their Hungarian bank, or internationally via Swift. Once you receive the money, it’ll be credited to your HUF balance.

This feature is available for all personal customers. For business customers, it's only available if you don't have multiple users on your business account. We're working on making this available to all business customers.

Payments by Swift to HUF details
To receive international payments via Swift share following details with the sender:
Your name
IBAN
Swift/BIC code
Bank name and bank address shown on your account details screen
The IBAN is a combination of letters and numbers that represent things like country, bank code, and branch code. Use our IBAN checker if you need to break down the codes into BIC and account number.
They can send international Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world. Keep in mind it's usually cheaper and faster to receive to local account details.
They should only send you HUF to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in HUF, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
Wise has an entity in Belgium, so we use the Belgian BIC code and a Wise address in Belgium for some of our European currency accounts, including HUF. You can still use the Belgian BIC to receive payments in HUF to your HUF balance.
Payments by Swift to GBP details
You can also receive HUF from outside Hungary by Swift into your GBP IBAN.
Let the sender know that you want to receive in HUF into your GBP details so you can avoid conversion fees. Some banks might recognise the GBP IBAN and want to convert to GBP, but this isn't necessary.
If their bank asks them the country of the recipient’s (your) bank, tell them to put the United Kingdom.
