Before you close
We recommend you check and follow these steps before you permanently close your account, so that you have everything you need:
Withdraw all money from your balances, including Jars, Stocks and Interest
Check your connected cards — make sure you change your card details on any websites as you won’t be able to use them
Wait for any pending card payments to go through
Complete or cancel all pending transactions
Download any transfer receipts and balance statements you might need
Withdrawing money
From Home, select a balance with money in it
Select Send
Make sure you’re sending the full amount from your balance
Choose the bank account you want to send your money to
Confirm the payment to empty the account
You’ll need to do this for each currency and balance where you have money.
Closing your personal account
Here’s how to close your account permanently on the web or app. Selecting it won't immediately close your account — we'll guide you through the next steps first.
Go on your name in the top corner
Go to Settings
Select Close account

I closed my account by mistake
If you didn’t mean to close your account, don’t worry — you can reactivate it!
Just go onto the login page and enter the email address and password that was associated with your account. You’ll see instructions on screen on how to reactivate it. This doesn’t work if we closed your account — learn more about why we close accounts and how to make an appeal.
