What are PLN account details?
You can’t get PLN account details right now. We need to make some improvements to our PLN account details. So, we’ve had to stop users getting these details for the time being. If you already have PLN account details, you can keep using them as normal.
These are your very own account details to receive Polish złoty (PLN) with zero fees.
This isn’t a bank account, but the account number we give you works in the same way when receiving money. Just share your account name and account number to your friends, company or customers, and they can send you PLN from any Polish bank account. And no one pays fees.
Your account number is legally owned by Wise, and personally assigned to you, so you can receive money directly into your balance.

How to receive PLN
Right now, you can’t get PLN account details if you don’t already have them. We stopped issuing account details for now, but will announce as soon as they are available again. If you already have the details, they’ll work as normal.
Share your details to the person who wants to pay you.
They can pay you by local bank transfer. They won’t be able to pay you using international wire or Swift, or by cash deposit at Poczta Polska. We also don’t accept split VAT payments.
It usually takes 1–2 working days to receive PLN into your account. We don’t currently support instant transfers to your PLN account details.
Payments from anywhere in the world
If you don’t have local account details in PLN but would like to receive PLN via Swift, first you need to open account details in GBP. Learn how to get account details
Share your global account details with the person who wants to pay you. They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world.
They should only send you PLN to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in PLN, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
It usually takes 4–5 days to receive PLN into your account via Swift.
As Wise is based in the UK, we use a GBP IBAN/GBP BIC code for some account details including PLN. Don’t worry—you can still use the GBP IBAN to receive in PLN. When sharing your IBAN with your sender, tell them to select the United Kingdom if they’re asked the country of the recipient’s (your) bank.
Please note, that some sender banks might be converting money to GBP if they see that bank details are in GBP. To avoid conversion fees, tell your sender bank that you'd like to the payment in your chosen currency.
