Who can I send UYU to?
You can send UYU to any bank account in Uruguay.
What information do I need about my recipient?
You’ll need their full name, address, 8-digit Uruguayan national ID card number, account number (up to 20 digits long), account type and bank name.
If your recipient’s account is with Banco Santander, we’ll also need the branch name.
If you’re sending to a business, you’ll need the company name and 12-digit company registration number.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 10.5 million UYU per transfer.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once we receive and convert your money, it usually takes 2 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.
