We're temporarily unable to accept Swift payments to NZD global account details if your registered address is in New Zealand.
What are NZD account details?
These are your very own account details to receive New Zealand dollars (NZD) with zero fees.
This isn’t a bank account, but the account number we give you works in the same way when you’re receiving money.
Just share your bank account number, along with the local address listed with your details to your friends, company or customers, and they can send you NZD from any New Zealand bank account. And no one pays any fees.

How to receive NZD
First, you’ll need to get NZD account details.
This will get you a set of local account details for receiving payments from inside New Zealand, as well as global (Swift) account details to receive international payments.
Payments from inside New Zealand
Share your local account details with the person who wants to pay you.
Make sure your sender uses your complete account details when sending you money. Sometimes, banks may insist on three digit suffixes. If this is the case, simply add a 0 before the last 2 digits of your account number.
For example, if your Wise account number is 11-2222-3333333-44 and the bank asks for a 3 digit suffix, use 11-2222-3333333-044 instead.

It usually takes 1–2 working days to receive NZD into your account.
Payments from outside New Zealand
Share your global account details with the person who wants to pay you. They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world.
They should only send you NZD to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in NZD, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
It usually takes 4–5 days to receive NZD into your account via Swift.
Note: If you have account details for your GBP balance, you can also receive NZD to your GB IBAN with no additional fees.
