Contactless payments allow you to tap your card on payment terminals, rather than swiping or inserting it. It's a safe and convenient way to make payments, with secure encryption technology.
But if contactless isn't working for your card, here’s what you can do.
If you’ve never used contactless
For most regions, you'll need to activate your card with a chip and PIN transaction before you can pay with contactless.
If you have a card issued from the US, Japan or the Philippines you'll need to activate it with the 6 digit PIN we send to you. Once your card is activated you may need to do a chip and PIN transaction before you can use contactless.
