If you're expecting a refund to your Wise card it's important to know that every merchant has their own refund policy, so be sure to check their website and terms of use.
Once your refund has been issued, it typically takes 5–10 working days for the money to arrive to your account. If you’ve been waiting for more than 10 working days, get in touch with the merchant first.
We can't track or see refunds until the money arrives, but we'll always automatically deposit the money into your balance when we receive it.
If the transaction is still pending
If you’re expecting money back from a transaction that’s pending, the merchant can:
cancel the pending transaction and the money will return to your account right away
do nothing and the money will return in 7 days for most payments, or in 30 days in cases such as a booking deposit or hotel reservation
complete the transaction and issue a refund as a new transaction.
