Sending to SEK
Who can I send SEK to?
You can send SEK to any bank account in Sweden.
What information do I need about my recipient?
You’ll need their full name and IBAN.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 12.5 million SEK per transfer.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once we receive and convert your money, it usually takes 1–2 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.
We’ll always give you an estimate for how long your transfer will take when you set it up.

Are there any restrictions on sending to SEK?
We can’t make payments to PlusGiro, BankGiro, or local account details.
Is there any other information I need to know?
You can include a reference of up to 16 characters, which the recipient will see on their bank statement.
Sending from SEK
How much can I send?
You can send up to 12.5 million SEK per transfer, depending on how you pay. If you pay by card, for example, the limit is lower — but you’ll only see the option to pay by card if you’re sending less than the limit.
Where can I send from?
You can only send SEK to Wise from banks within Sweden. We do not accept SEK via Swift.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
It usually takes 0–1 working days for your money to get to us, depending on how you pay for your transfer. Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

I’ve cancelled my payment, how long will my refund take?
We’ll let you know when we’ve refunded your money. The time it takes for you to get your refund depends on how you paid,
Trustly payments are usually instant during working hours, but can take up to 2 working days
Bank transfers take 0–1 working days
Card payments take 2–10 working days
If you paid by bank transfer, we might need more information before sending your refund. We’ll send you an email if we do.
