Sending to SGD
If you are sending money from Singapore for the first time, you'll need to get verified first. We'll guide you to upload your documents when you create a transfer.

Who can I send SGD to?
You can send SGD to individual and business bank accounts in Singapore.
What information do I need about my recipient?
The information you need about your recipient depends on how you want to send the payment to them.
Bank transfer
You’ll need:
their full name
bank name
bank account number — this should be a maximum of 14 digits for a standard bank account, or up to 25 digits for the DBS virtual account
PayNow
First, select Add a Recipient and choose Search PayNow and Wise
You’ll need to enter one of the following to display the recipient’s name:
Mobile number (for foreign numbers, please include the country code)
NRIC/FIN number
UEN Number (for corporate recipients)
Virtual Payment Address (VPA)
Personal VPA +65XXXXXXXX#WISE
Corporate VPA (UEN Number)#WISE
Make sure you double-check the recipient's name before continuing with the transfer.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 2 million SGD.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once we receive and convert your money, it usually takes 0–1 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account, depending on how much you send. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.
We’ll always give you an estimate for how long your transfer will take when you set it up.

Sending from SGD
How can I pay for my transfer from SGD?
You can pay for your transfer from SGD by linked bank account, debit card, PayNow, or you can send money from your Wise balance. You can also use your credit card if it's issued outside Singapore. You can't use credit cards issued in Singapore to pay for a transfer or add money to your balance.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 2 million SGD per transfer, depending on how you pay. If you pay by card, the limit is 16,000 SGD.
Where can I send from?
You can only send SGD to Wise from banks within Singapore. You can’t send SGD by Swift.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
It usually takes 0–1 working days for your money to get to us, depending on how you pay for your transfer.
Account transfer and FAST payments take 15 minutes to reach us
Credit or debit card payments instantly reach us
GIRO payments take 2-3 working days to reach us
Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

I’ve cancelled my payment, how long will my refund take?
We’ll let you know when we’ve refunded your money. The time it takes for you to get your refund depends on how you paid,
Card payments take 2–10 working days
Bank transfers & PayNow take up to 1 working day
If you paid by bank transfer or PayNow, we might need more information before sending your refund. We’ll send you an email if we do.
Make sure to wait until the above time frame has passed before getting in touch about a refund — we’re not able to speed up the process.
