Auto Conversions allow you to pick your desired exchange rate and a specified amount to convert between two eligible currencies.
We’ll watch the rate, and convert your money automatically when your desired rate, or an even better rate, is met in the market.
How do Auto Conversions work?
With Auto conversions you control:
the currencies you convert between
the exchange rate that you want to convert at
the amount you want to convert
Set it and forget it — we’ll keep watch and convert your money when your desired rate is met in the market. We’ll also notify you when we convert your money, or if it fails for any reason.
If you don’t have enough money in your account when the rate is met, the conversion will be cancelled, and we'll let you know. You can add more money and try again.
How do I set up an Auto Conversion?
There are 2 different ways to set up Auto Conversions:

Select an Auto Conversion to cancel it.
How do I view my Auto Conversion history?
You can view your history through Payments. You’ll see all pending, cancelled, and successful Auto Conversions.
If your conversion was successful, you can also see it on the balance transactions of the relevant currency.
How long do Auto Conversions take?
We’ll watch the exchange rate, and convert your money automatically when your desired rate, or better, is met in the mid-market.
In some cases we might need a bit more time to handle any changes in the market.
Limitations
The exchange rate you chose must be live for at least 1 minute in order for us to complete the Auto Conversion.
We can’t complete Auto Conversions on Sundays between 20:00 UTC and 21:30 UTC, even if your rate is met.
You need a Wise account with money in a balance in order to execute Auto Conversions.
You can have up to 15 pending Auto Conversions at once, and there may be limits on how much you can convert with some currencies.
Auto Conversions only work for currencies in your Wise balance, so you can't use it to add money or to send money to another account. If you want to automatically send a transfer, learn about scheduled transfers.
